Two Little Princesses

Well...being a mommy of 2 is intense! I got quite used to my 'jamie time' during Libby's naptimes and once she went to sleep. 'Jamie time' is a thing of the past now. Which means things like blogging, cleaning, fun projects...well they all get put on the back burner. By the time I do get some personal time I am wiped and just want to crash. But non the less...mommyhood is wonderful and I wouldn't trade it for the world! My little girls are just down right ADORABLE!

I am learning every day how much each child really is different. Liberty was somewhat of a miracle baby. She was sleeping through the night by 4 weeks. She found her thumb and napped like a pro by 2 months. Paisley is improving in regards to sleeping at night but we are still waiting for a full night. Napping is still a challenge for her. I kept waiting and hoping she'd find her thumb...thumbs are just so handy...you can't leave them or lose them and they can be put back into the mouth by the baby from day one. But she is not finding her thumb any time soon...my guess is never. So I have resorted to the pacifier...half the time it works wonders...the other half it falls out so many times that it drives us both nuts. It'll fall out and she'll wake up and cry...it seems to be getting better as the time goes on but still naps are tough for her. One thing the girls have in common is that they are both very happy babies. Libby was such a joy...didn't fuss unless she was really tired or hungry and that's the same with Paisley.

Paisley has started to smile and laugh which is so much fun! I love this stage! It's so much easier to wake up at 1 am to feed her when she gives me so many big happy smiles! Before the smiles come I crave some sort of thank you so much! A smile is all i need to keep happily going! Libby is doing so well adjusting. She just adores her sister! They are so much fun these girls!

Liberty is such a talker now. She loves to give commentary on everything happening through out the day. Who's eating what with what utensil...what bug was where...who is awake and who isn't...it is so cute! Her two favorite things these days are her sister and bugs. Her daddy takes her bug hunting daily and she loves it!
