2 days until ALLIE

We are SOOO excited for thanksgiving! We are going to Arizona to be with Tom's brother Danny and wife Lindsay and kids Allie and Lily! They moved from utah in June...so sad! We miss them so much! Allie is Libby's most favorite person in the world! They were the best of friends and it has been so sad when she talks about Allie to have to tell her we cant see her cuz she moved! Well for a week now she has talked about seeing Allie and going to Allie's house and sleeping at Allie's house. We borrowed a Land Before Time movie (not sure what number it is) and one of the new dinasours is named Allie and Libby wants to watch it daily and I'm convinced its because there is an Allie in the movie. 2 more days! Yay! Although I am slightly worried that they will be so happy to see each other for the first little bit and then fight the rest of the time. They are so funny that way. The are so thrilled to see each other until someone has a toy the other one wants and then its fighting time. Either way we can't wait to spend time with this fun family as well as Grandma and Grandpa Stansfield who are coming from Hawaii!!! As well as Uncle Nate and sort of Aunt Elise that are coming from Utah too! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINDSAY! It's her birthday today and we can't wait to celebrate with her in 2 days!!! Love you tons Lindsay! Thanks so much for letting us come crash at your house for the HOliday!\

oh and below is (left to right) Libby, Lily, Paisley and Allie (kind of a tongue twister when you say them all together like that!)

Remember When

Do you remember when?
Here are the rules.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends or if you're a blog hopper who happens upon my blog regularly...leave me a comment. There must be reason you keep stopping by! Say something! If you don't have a blog or don't know how to sign in, sign up for an account! You won't regret it!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog (if you have one) and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty fun to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you... either on your blog, in my comment box, or I will email you back!

Pictures

Okay so in my mind I had this seriously cute picture in mind of Libby and Paisley together smiling happily. I thought well to get pictures taken you go to a studio so lets go! We went with a friend and her little girl and well it was the hardest and worst experience of parenting thus far. Libby threw a gigantic kicking and screaming tantrum (which is really not her) and it was just horrible. What do you do when your child has lost it...the other child needs you...and you can't leave cuz you came with someone? Needless to say the dream picture I had did not happen so instead I took a picture of Libby and got a free one of Paisley that was so super cute. So here they are. Libby is 2 and Paisley is 5 1/2 months in the pic. She is now almost 8 months....can you beleive it? Time really starts to fly by when you have 2 kids.

Oh and here is my family picture from our trip to California. I actually did a lot of photoshopping to it. Can you tell? Please be honest!

Thank You

K so I'm sitting here watching the CMA Awards and well country music is just awesome. It can really peirce your soul. Carrie Underwood sang "This is Just a Dream" and it just brought me to tears and I just wanted to tell every single human being who has ever served in the United States of America's Armed forces...

THANK YOU!

This country truly is the greatest on earth even with all its faults. And I am SO proud to be an american! To be in the military is so not easy. I've heard stories. I've dreamed of the possibilities...and I just want to again say thank you to all who serve and have served. I tell Thom he's not in the Army cuz I couldn't handle it. I go crazy sometimes when he is home 30 minutes late and the girls are screaming and I just need some help. All the men and women who give their spouses to the armed forces are amazing and I truly admire what you do. Especially thank you Dad Stansfield and Steve Koch. It was not until I married into this amazingly patriotic family that I could be choked up by the singing of the National Anthem and cry watching the CMA awards. Thank you for your example and for your love for this amazing place I have the priveledge to call home.

Let it Snow Let it Snow Let it Snow

Last winter was a long hard winter. It snowed so many many times and I had a little lady who just did not know how or understand how to play in the snow. Well this winter is going to be SO much better! Bring on the snow! It snowed last week and Libby LOVED LOVED LOVED it! She was out there all day pretty much and every day since then she asks if there is snow. We made a snow man and a snow pig!
She loved to dive into it, crawl around in it and most of all eat it! I just love this girl and I am so looking forward for the next snow!

First Kiss

Is this just not so cute? And disturbing at the same time? But hey they are 2 and 3 so no harm done right? And like many of you parents out there we like to joke that these cute friends are betrothed but we will see what their opinions are of each other later in life. Okay so on actual Halloween we went up to Provo to trick or treat with our buddies at Helaman Halls at BYU. Jamie (Pinnock) Miller, hubbi Andrew and so cute kids Joseph and Grace are some of our most favorite people. They lived across the hall from us in Virginia...we were there when Joseph was born...there when they got the positive pregnancy test of Joseph...and they have been there for us through it all too! Anyway...aren't these guys the cutest? Grace totally stole the show this year in ultimate cuteness and receiving the most oohs and ahhs from the girls in the dorms.
